Rain on your Wedding Day

Last Saturday, it just poured down.  It must have been disappointing for brides who had planned a wedding on the gorgeous Sunshine Coast – beaches, reception venues, parks etc. to have to settle for the wet weather plan.  It is never quite how you envisage it!  The bride and groom I was marrying had to relocate to Plan B – which was Bistro C at Noosa.  Several adjustments had to be made, guests contacted with the new arrangements and more importantly, the bride and groom had to let go of their preconceived ideas and realise that some things, are just out of our control.Always have a Plan B!

Garry and Sarah’s wedding turned out to be absolutely perfect!  Guests were held in the lobby whilst final arrangements were made inside.  They were handed a champers on entry to the room about  10-15 minutes prior to the wedding starting.  Everyone was squashed in, some standing, some sitting.  The atmosphere and love in the room was obvious.  The buzz, the champers, the music – the excitement was building.  The bride made a stunning entrance, and everyone applauded.  The wedding could not have been any better outdoors in the beautiful Maison La Plage, (although the photos would have been spectacular!)

So don’t worry about rain on your wedding day.  If it does rain, all your wedding professionals will ensure your day is amazing in every way, and your guests will feel very special.  Thanks to Amy from Bistro C, and Alan Hughes Photographer for your professionalism on the day.
