Planning for Perfection

Your wedding is a momentous, wonderful, once in a lifetime occasion (hopefully!), and for that reason, we go overboard ensuring every little thing, and everyone, is happy.  Weddings are a symbol of love, hope and commitment to the future, not just for the bride and groom, but also for family, friends and community.

For a recently wed Racquel, planning for her wedding day was her speciality, and some planning stats were shared with guests at the Pelican Waters Golf Club wedding last month:

Wedding professionals:  Evalyn Parson Hair, Sally Townsend Make up Artist, Julie Collins Photography and Karen Faa Celebrant primed, primped and positioned the bridal party whilst Julie from Cloud Nine styled the Pelican Waters Golf Club wedding venue to best capture the aesthetics of the lake and natural bushland setting.  The weather was stunning.

With only moments to go before the bride’s arrival, guests were seated,  the five groomsmen were in place, flowers pinned, when  down the aisle, galloped the groom.  He jumped, punched the air above him, and let out a “whooppeee!”  The 103 guests roared with laughter – the excitement contagious.  The moment had finally arrived.  Looking across the lake, a flotilla of golf buggies carrying the five bridesmaids, three junior bridesmaids, three flower girls, three page boys, bride and her father glided to the privacy of some Australian natives ready for the rehearsed entrance across the bridge.  Michelle Hurd from Pelican Waters Weddings, Golf Club, set the procession off, and  once all the bridesmaids were in place, all eyes were on the bride escorted by her father who made her way across the bridge, alongside the venue, and down the aisle, exquisite in her beautiful wedding gown.

The ceremony was beautiful, touching,  personalised and funny.  All the planning, the meetings, the dreams, and tears and the laughter, resulted in a “…wonderful day, so many happy memories were made….”
