Karen Faa Sunshine Coast Celebrant asks: Brides Do you have your game face on?

You have done the homework, best plans are in place, so now, on your wedding day, you have to just let go. Put your game face on, and the day will unfold exactly as it is meant to…
What if it rains? You will have a wet weather plan, and all wedding professionals will endeavour to make the plan B as special and as magical as can be.
What if the bouquet is not what you ordered? The wrong music comes on? The ring gets dropped in the sand, or another guest has shown up wearing your mum’s dress! You (and perhaps the groom) are the only ones who know something is not right. If you let bridesmaids, mothers or others know it is wrong, they will tell other guests. Before you know it, with liquid encouragement, they will admonish whichever wedding vendor is appropriate – with an audience – and the drama will grow….
If you want everyone to enjoy your special day, and believe it is the best wedding they have ever been to, act like it is! Keep a smile on your face, because at the end of the day, you will leave the wedding “married”! You can deal with any problems after the wedding/honeymoon.
It may well be the thing you laugh about one day, and dine out on for years to come.
