It was such a stunning day, second day of spring at the gorgeous Sunshine Coast’s Point Arkwright, waves crashing and the odd surfer catching a wave. Luke and Kacie must have felt like they had won the lottery, as the day before at the rehearsal, it was howling with a biting wind in the very spot they had chosen for their nuptials.
It was fortuitous that the boys had brought esky’s full of refreshments, and found a perfect spot to test the amber liquid under the shade of a tree. Guests arrived in their finery, enjoying the warm sun for a while, when we received word that the wedding had to be delayed for half an hour to an hour. Announcements made, and guests gathered in the shade enjoying a pre wedding drink (planned for post wedding). Everyone was jovial, chatting and catching up. It could have been so different if there wasn’t any shade or drinks!
